Calgary Reads @ School
Our core program follows a well-researched framework and consists of 16 weeks of twice weekly tutoring during the school day. Each struggling Grade 1 and 2 reader is paired with a trained adult volunteer tutor for 32 half-hour sessions during the school day. Our tutors receive seven hours of initial training, with annual professional development updating.
