Please note: The volunteer registration form, tutor application form, code of conduct form and the police clearance form must be completed and received by the Calgary Reads office before tutors can take Level 1 training. All forms except for the police clearance form can be faxed, mailed or brought in person to the Calgary Reads office. The police clearance form must be completed at the Calgary Reads office or at the school where you will be tutoring

Police Clearance. The Calgary Board of Education requires all volunteers to complete a CBE Police Check. It is mandatory that this form be completed in person at the Calgary Reads office or a CBE school. You are required to provide two pieces of government issued identification. One piece must contain a photo and present address (for example - Passport, Drivers License, SIN card, Alberta Health Card). Forms are available at the Calgary Reads office.
